BLADES OVER BUCKMINSTER
We have been invited by the BoB team to come along to this amazing event and make use of the excellent facilities at the home of the BMFA, Buckminster.
This event will not be a BQE. This will be flying for fun with your mates. No race pressure, no fuss, campsite will be open, cafe will be doing hot food. Come along. Bring everything you fly, and fly it. The focus is a fun FPV weekend with your mates.
Wings?
Bring an FPV wing, Race it around some inflatable pylons, interfere with some local trees, be chased by an X-Class. All FPV wings are welcome and you will get a chance to rip plenty of packs.
5" Racers?
We will have some gates out with a laid out track to fly. We will have lap timing. Which will be set to 'practice' mode. Like a chilled Friday evening sesh with your local club. Grab a 'Race Duck' and go. Or chase a wing! We have a huge open space available
X-Class?
You have one that works!? Bring it along! We want to see it fly.
Street League?
It's on like DoneyKong. Let’s get a heat of these monsters in the air and enjoy the spectacle. Bring them along!
Whoop?
The BMFA hangar will be all ours for the weekend. A huge space, perfect for Whooping. Mr MiniRolls is going to present "Le Whoop 24hr". here will be a HUGE track set up with all the LED goodness you can expect, for a chilled weekend of hanging out and flying LOTS. Cruise around, freestyle, cinematic whoops, laps. Whatever you want. There will be lap timing too, so you can time your laps, and see progress over the day if you want, but no pressure. They are also considering a LOS race with a Le Mans style running start. So you can drop into the hangar and whoop it up.
There will be so much going on. Come along, hang out, do a flying. A really fun and chilled weekend. Sounds good? Ok here's how this will work.

Some of us will be arriving on Friday night. Some will stay until Monday morning. Come along as stay for as long as you prefer.
Flying - The organised flying will all take place on SATURDAY. Timing and track equipment will all be available for all disciplines. Ticket price to fly on SATURDAY is £20.
More Flying - flying on SUNDAY is optional. If you want to stay and play on SUNDAY there is a BMFA 'cover charge' of £10 per pilot. Simply pay this direct to the BMFA and off you go.
